On 5th November 2024, the International Center for Refugee and Migration Studies (ICRMS) conducted a Human Resources (HR) training session led by Mr. Manzoor Hussain, Director of Human Resource Management at BUITEMS. This session provided ICRMS staff with essential insights into key HR processes, focusing particularly on enhancing internal record-keeping and inventory management systems. The training was designed to improve staff understanding of effective HR practices, ensuring streamlined operations and reliable data management. By implementing these improvements, ICRMS aims to enhance both compliance and productivity, ensuring that staff records and inventory are managed with efficiency and accuracy.
A key aspect of the training covered the importance of meticulous record-keeping for human resources and organizational assets. Mr. Hussain highlighted methods for tracking employee data, including attendance, performance evaluations, and training logs, emphasizing the importance of maintaining updated and organized records. Staff were also instructed on inventory management best practices, focusing on tracking resources and ensuring the availability of essential materials. This aspect of the training aims to reduce wastage and ensure accountability, which is critical for effective resource allocation and budgeting.
Additionally, Mr. Hussain introduced new software tools and digital methods to support efficient data handling, outlining how these technologies can simplify record-keeping and inventory processes. Staff members were trained in the implementation and usage of these systems, which are expected to contribute to smoother daily operations and reliable record access. This comprehensive approach to HR management will help ICRMS maintain an organized and professional environment, supporting both short-term goals and long-term organizational growth.
