Short Biography:

Bakht Noor Khan is a policy and development research professional with over seven years’ experience working with provincial and federal governments, and national and international development organizations, including Finance Department, Planning & Development Department (P&DD) Government of Balochistan, the USAID, and the World Bank Group.

Currently, Mr. Bakht Noor is Coordinator, Partnerships and Consultancies at University of Loralai. He also serves there as lecturer at the Department of Political Science. He is Hanns Siedel Foundation (HSF) Fellow on Urban Sustainability and member of the Young South Asia Network (YSAN).

Mr. Bakht has advanced research degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He also earned a seminar course certificate from Humboldt University, Germany on Migration in Trans-regional Perspective. His research areas are peace and conflict, refugees and migrations, governance in peripheries, and combined and uneven development. He has been contributing research papers, opinion pieces on these areas in international conferences and seminars and other platforms.
