Short Biography: |
Dr. Asma Bashir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology at the Women’s University Multan. She has teaching experience for about 15 years. Her current research centres on student learning, the adjustment journey of Pakistani Muslim international students abroad, the role of prior learning in educational adjustment, Refugee adjustment and the importance of educational and institutional support to enhance the adjustment of migrant and international students. She is working on establishing a well-being centre at her parent university. She recently received an Associate Fellowship from Higher Education UK, recognizing her teaching service. She has several research publications and has presented her work at International and National conferences.
She is a reviewer of different national and international journals in the discipline. Dr. Asma Bashir has moderated scientific sessions, presented papers and published articles in different conferences and journals. She has been engaged as an external examiner for thesis vivas at other educational institutions.
