On October 24th, 2022, ICRMS initiated a third public lecture which was also a policy dialogue on financial inclusion for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan. The broad thematic areas were refugees’ access to financial services and opportunities and the specific focus was refugees’ inclusion in the financial sector such as access to banking services and livelihood opportunities. The range of the dialogue extended from POR cardholders to other legal identities of refugees and migrants living in Pakistan. Stakeholders from Pakistan were invited to this engagement, which directly dealt with the financial inclusion sector and state policy formulation departments.
