Vacancy Announcement for Liaison Officer

The International Center for Refugee and Migration Studies (ICRMS) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Liaison Officer to join our team. As a Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and collaboration between ICRMS and various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and international bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for external partners, establishing and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between ICRMS and stakeholders, ensuring timely exchange of information.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and workshops to represent ICRMS and contribute to discussions on refugee and migration issues.
  • Collaborate with research teams to gather and analyze data, providing valuable insights for program development and policy recommendations.
  • Assist in organizing events, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives related to refugee and migration studies.
  • Stay updated on relevant policies, regulations, and emerging trends in the field.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as international relations, migration studies, or social sciences). A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar liaison role, preferably in the field of refugee and migration studies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of refugee and migration issues, including legal frameworks and policy landscape.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
